Date - May 1, 2026
Please be aware of the following construction-related closures and traffic changes taking effect starting Saturday, May 2, 2026:
Permanent Chieftan Way Closure | May 2
Chieftain Way between Call Street and Academic Way will permanently close on Saturday, May 2, for the construction of a new residence hall and dining facility. Bus stops along Chieftain Way will also be permanently closed; new bus stops on Academic Way will enter service on Saturday, May 2.
Hull Drive Parking Lot Closures | May 2
The first two rows of the Hull Drive Parking Lot immediately west of Chieftan Way will permanently close starting Saturday, May 2; the next four rows will be temporarily closed to allow for restriping and creation of pedestrian pathway starting Saturday, May 2, through Friday, May 8.
Bio Unit 1 Crane Staging | May 4 - 8
A crane will be staged at the northwest corner of Bio Unit 1 starting Monday, May 4, through Friday, May 8. Both vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be routed around the construction area during this time.
Call Street Westbound Lane Closure | May 4 - 29
The westbound vehicular traffic lane of Call Street will be closed to allow for utility construction starting Monday, May 4, through Friday, May 29. Eastbound traffic will remain open.

Seminole Café & Salley Hall Partial Sidewalk Closure | April 13 - 24
Please be aware that the sidewalk on the north side of Seminole Café and Salley Hall will be partially closed from Monday, April 13, to Friday, April 24, 2026.
This closure is necessary to allow for utility improvements in the area. Alternate pedestrian paths are available on the north side of the Westside Courts and along Call Street. Please refer to the graphic below for additional details.

NW Campus Parking Garage Construction | March 31, 2026 – May 2027
Stone Building Parking Lots #466 and #468 Permanent Closure | March 31, 2026
Please be advised that the Stone Building Parking Lots (Lot #466 and Lot #468) will close Tuesday, March 31, 2026, to allow for construction of a new parking garage. The new parking garage is designed to support 930 vehicles. Additional parking is being constructed to help lessen the impact of the parking lot closures.

Salley Parking Lot Partial Closure | March 6, 2026
Please be advised that the Salley Parking Lot will be partially closed starting Friday, March 6, 2026, as part of the upcoming new Housing and Dining construction project.

Rogers Parking Lot Partial Closure | March 13 - 23, 2026
Please be advised that the Rogers Hall Parking Lot (Lot #472) will be partially closed starting Friday, March 13 to Monday, March 23, as part of the upcoming new Housing and Dining construction project.
New bus stops will be constructed along Academic Way in preparation for the future Chieftan Way road closure coming in May. The southern row of parking impacted by this closure will reopen on March 23, 2026.
