Performs advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex building automation and control systems, including variable frequency drives, machine controllers, boiler and chiller controls, air compressors, heat exchangers, fume hoods, and laboratory control systems. Diagnoses and configures FLN, BLN Ethernet, BACnet, P1, Modbus, KNX, and other control system networks. Performs calibration of sensors, controllers, flow meters, and other measurement devices while also handling basic mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing maintenance. Collaborates with Siemens support technicians, energy engineers, and other FSU personnel to diagnose and resolve complex system faults and maintain reliable building operations..
Responsibilities

Perform advanced troubleshooting tasks for complex building systems such as variable speed drive replacement, machine specific controllers repair or replacement, air compressors control, boiler controls, heat exchangers, fume hoods, lab controls and chiller controls.
Perform network diagnostics for FLN and BLN Ethernet and other communication systems. Must be able to set up TECs and BACNet, P1, ModBus, KNX and other networks used in the control systems.
Perform all tasks as described in the Maintenance Technician position description including basic mechanical, electrical, control and plumbing tasks.
Perform calibrations for sensors, controllers, flow meters and other measurement devices.
Coordinate with Siemens onsite support technician to identify and repair components causing system faults.
Coordinate with the energy engineer and other FSU team members to resolve complex system problems.
