Born and raised in Tallahassee, Master Craftsman Studio Assistant Caroline Kynoch graduated from Florida State University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts, focusing on sculpture and illustration.
During her final semester at FSU, she interned at Master Craftsman Studio while balancing her studies and work. After graduating, she continued volunteering at the studio, helped with operational needs, and eventually became a Studio Assistant. In her role, Caroline supports the glass and sign shop's daily activities, including design, fabrication, installation, laser cutter operations, and overseeing intern projects.
In her personal work, Caroline enjoys combining woodworking and glasswork and experimenting with the chemical properties of fused glass. She approaches each medium with curiosity and tenacity, believing that every day is an opportunity to refine her craft.
