The nine-foot-tall FSU letters have become a popular photo destination for campus visitors. Located in the heart of campus across from the Student Union, the installation reflects the university’s updated branding and provides a distinctive backdrop for selfies, graduation photos and campus memories. Each letter is a three-dimensional, hollow-core aluminum structure measuring 24 inches deep. The letters were precision-cut into sections using waterjet technology, assembled and welded over an internal structural framework, then clad in aluminum to create the finished forms. The result is a durable, sculptural installation that celebrates Florida State University and welcomes visitors to capture a piece of the FSU experience.
