Assists with planting shrubs and trees, turf maintenance, soil preparation, and resodding. The position is responsible for the entire lifecycle of plant health, from propagation via seeds and grafting to the advanced care of greenhouse environments, where they manage humidity, nutrient requirements, and integrated pest management.

Groundskeepers OPS

This position is responsible for the routine care and aesthetic upkeep of University grounds within designated zones. The core duties involve standard landscape maintenance, including edging, raking, power blowing, and comprehensive weed and debris removal to ensure a clean campus environment. Additionally, the role supports minor landscaping renovations through plant installation, transplanting, and soil excavation.

Groundskeeper

This role focuses on the meticulous upkeep and aesthetic preservation of university grounds through a blend of horticulture, sanitation, and equipment maintenance. The primary duties include comprehensive plant care—such as edging, pruning, and deep-root weeding—alongside landscape logistics like transplanting materials and soil excavation for minor renovations.

Athletic Fields Specialist I (multiple vacancies)

Responsible for the care and maintenance of all athletic fields. Repairs irrigation work. Maintains fields by applying fertilizers and pesticides involving spraying, broadcast and spot treatments. Monitors turf for diseases and insect damage and takes correction action(s). Monitors soil conditions and takes soil samples. Executes cultural practices and sport specific practices at athletic fields. Ensures playing surfaces are appropriately maintained for the safety of staff, student-athletes and coaches.
